Papa Dave, Auntie Suzy Q, Cousin Brynn & Cousin Kedryn met us at the Washington National Zoo on the hottest day in history according to me.  They were picking us up to take us back to Suzy Q’s house in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Brynn & Emily bonded immediately and got along great the entire week we were together.  Brynn was the “Big Sister”.

Max & Emily had a great visit with Oma & Grandpa Dale.  Grandpa Dale made pancakes for them every morning.  Emily woke up this morning asking for pancakes.  Oma took them to the park almost every day!  They miss them already!  Looking forward to seeing them at Nick’s Bar Mitvah in June!!!  Only 6 weeks away!

We had a great visit with Oma!  She cooked, cleaned & took care of the kids!  Can’t beat that!!  We’ll miss having her around! 

Oma had fun fixing Emily’s hair in different styles.  She put it in side buns today for her Itty Bitty Ballet class this morning.

We went to Big Basin Redwoods State Park on Sunday with Norma, The Itos and The Iversens for a picnic and some short hikes around the redwoods.
