Emily’s 1st day back @ Little Oak Preschool as a Green Frog. She is going two 1/2 mornings per week.
Max gives Emily a hug
Welcome Green Frogs! Emily will be following in Max’s footsteps as a Green Frog (one of the 3 year old classrooms).

There are 3 Emily’s in The Green Frog classroom so they have to differentiate therefore Emily C.
The class pet … a turtle!
Her name is Princess Shelly
Emily points to Princess Shelly. She is a snapping turtle therefore the tape on the top of the cage. Not the greatest pet choice!
LOL!
We went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk yesterday (Tuesday, July 6th) to celebrate Max’s good buddy Will’s 5th Birthday!
Max & Will went to Little Oak Preschool together for 3 years straight. First as Red Birds then Green Frogs then Polar Bears. They just graduated last month from preschool; however, they will be attending Junior Kindergarten together at Almaden Country School in the Fall.

The boys had a fabulous time together!
Little Miss Em also attended. She rode all the rides solo, but she wasn’t the slightest bit phased! She had a great time running solo!

Happy 5th Birthday Will! It was great celebrating with you!
Max ready for school this morning. He decided against wearing a hat for “Hat Day”. He tends to buck the system!
Surprise! Surprise!
This is the hand print wall of graduates from Little Oak Preschool.
Max becomes an offical graduate by implanting his pink handprint marking the walls of Little Oak Preschool for decades to come!
He will begin a Junior Kindergarten program in the Fall.
Today was Emily’s last day of preschool
It was “Hat Day” at school so she picked out this hat. My mom (a.k.a. “Nana”) got this particular hat for her when she turned ONE in July 2008.
She also chose to accessorize with a pretty lavender confetti scarf made by one of my Dad’s friends, Carol.
Here she is running to school on her last day!

Emily’s year as a Red Bird has been a wonderful, positive experience. I am looking forward to her starting as a Green Frog in the Fall and following her big brother’s foot steps through Little Oak.

Today was a special day. My mom (a.k.a. Nana) attended Max’s First Art Show @ Little Oak Preschool with us in April 2008. She was energetic, vibrant & happy! I will never forget that day! This is the second art show without her in this world. It’s a special day as I remember her beaming as she looked at her youngest grandson’s art displayed. I only wish she would’ve been here with me today. My dear dear Mama … you are always on my mind & in my heart. Life hasn’t been the same without you.
