We went to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo in San Jose on Thursday with some of Max’s Junior Kindergarten classmates. This was their Winter Break week.
Max had the opportunity to pet a baby hedgehog! So cute!! Max was petting him in the wrong direction so the Zoo volunteer had to correct him; however, it turns out that a hedgehog is not related to a porcupine and they don’t have quills.

Papa Dave & I took the 4 cousins to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo on Sunday after Emily’s BD party for their last afternoon together. Uncle Wallace had to go to work.

Christian & Max waited in line for The Frog Hopper for quite some time. They actually cut in line to the front and Kathy had to tell them to go to the back of the line!

Kathy & I are slightly concerned that Emily & Christian are going to be Happy Hollow buddies;
since Max is a bit of a dare devil. Here he is standing in line for the roller coaster. We waited over 30 minutes!!
All in all, it was a great afternoon @ Happy Hollow! Kids had a great time! That’s what it’s all about!

She was nervous at first, but then warmed up to Danny and went over to get a hug

Megan & Emily are both 35 inches high so they missed out on some of the bigger rides. They needed to be 36 inches!

There was also a petting zoo! Emily was saying hello to the baby goat.
She enjoyed petting them and introducing them to her brown puppy.

Max was in preschool this morning so we had a little girl’s outing.
