Emily, in the car, on her way to the Gingerbread House decorating class at Los Gatos Rec

Here she is decorating her house with all sorts of yummy candy

She used seven tootsie rolls, six M&Ms, two candy cane, two Hershey kisses, two gum drops complete with lots of sugary icing

Emily’s Gingerbread House (After decorating)

Emily is obviously very proud of her decorated house

Notice icing on her shirt under her arms. She would lean over the house to get candy to decorate the house. Brown Puppy even ended up iced at the end.

Preparing for the Gingerbread House Playdate for Max’s preschool buddies this afternoon. I had to assemble 6 Gingerbread Houses in advance. It took pretty much all of yesterday afternoon! I should’ve purchased them already made. It was fun anyway and the key is tons of icing! It acts like glue!

Max anxiously awaiting for his friends to arrive!

Just hanging out underneath the table …

Max’s Gingerbread House (before decorating)

Max starts the decorating process by eating green icing directly from the icing tube!!

Max’s Gingerbread House (after decorating). He ate all the candies off the house immediately after putting them on. Notice that he ate one of the gables and nibbled on the other one.
