Emily walked right up to Santa Claus without hesitation. Below are some pictures of Emily sitting on Santa’s lap and telling him what she wants for XMAS. He was asking her questions like, “Do you listen to your mama?” She answered some of his questions, but basically was just content hanging out sitting on his lap!

We went to the Los Gatos Farmer’s Market today and saw Ole Saint Nick

Max told him that he wanted 17 cars and a video game for Christmas

Santa Claus asked him what was the “ONE” thing that he wanted;

he told him a video game. Wallace has been working with Max on his mouse skills by playing various games on the computer. Max is making making progress after only 3 short lessons.

Max’s girlfriend, Abby, gave Emily this sweet Elmo Christmas dress! Emily loved wearing it. She knew she was wearing something special & cute ’cause everyone was looking at her today when we went out for brunch! :-)

Before the Tree Trimming (with just the lights on) …

Max had a ball hanging all the ornaments on the tree

He carefully put them on with ornament hooks

Most of the ornaments ended up in clusters at Max’s eye level

I tried to remedy this situation by getting out the step ladder so we could cover the middle & upper parts of the tree. Some of you might be a little freaked out (Oma) by seeing Miss Em on the ladder; however, she was amazingly steady & careful.

Max … not so much …

After the Tree Trimming … I think we are about 1/4 of the way through all our ornaments. We’ll have another tree trimming party on Thursday or Friday. We only broke 6 ornaments. Not bad!

Rosey Cheeked Max

Just hanging out after all his hard work

Max & Emily visit Santa Claus @ the Valley Fair Mall this evening. I thought we would beat the crowd and go early! Wallace freaked out that we went before Thanksgiving! :-) Max told Santa that he wanted cars and a Handy Manny tool set. He was very interested in Santa’s reindeer and wanted to meet them.
