Things are a changing! Instead of playing in the sand box or with trains or stuffed animals … we are now moving to video games during our playdates.

Max’s 5th BD Party

Max celebrated his 5th Birthday at SilverCreek Sportsplex in San Jose today

His buddy, Brennan, was the first guest to arrive!

Sweet Christian has been a friend since Max was 4 months old. They met in “Music Together” class at Los Gatos Rec.

Emily’s “Happy Bird” BD Party

We celebrated Emily’s 3rd BD yesterday with friends & family

The main event for Emily’s 3rd BD was “Happy Birds”, a performing parrot show

Seven beautiful & friendly parrots entertained us all and Emily even got a kiss from pretty “Piper”

This particular bird is a trainee to the show. Emily is feeding him an almond.

The bird show consisted of various birds riding a bike, riding a scooter, singing songs, making other animal impersonations, skateboarding, opening water bottles, etc.

Max was an active participant in the audience with lots of questions for the “Bird Lady”. He loved it!

We went to Round Table Pizza this afternoon and celebrated Liam’s 1st Birthday!

Emily enjoyed pepperoni pizza & an apple/cinnamon pizza before a piece of chocolate cake!

Hidden Villa

We went to “Hidden Villa” yesterday afternoon for a Barnyard Baby Animal program for preschoolers with some of Max’s friends, Christian, Brennan & Cameron.

“Hidden Villa” is an organic farm located in Los Altos Hills. It’s a non-profit educational organization. Heifer International Learning Center is also present at Hidden Villa and provides educational programs that promote sustainable solutions to global hunger, poverty and environmental degradation. Max was very excited to touch the egg Sweet Lamb (only 2 weeks old)Another adorable lamb! This one really stole my heart!Max gently touched the lamb The mama was baa’ing away wanting the lamb to return to her Max & Emily give Emma some loving! This lamb was pretty funny! She loved to be scratched, petted, touched!! She would push her way into the kids, adults, whoever just for a scratch. What a lovely sheep!This is Clyde I don’t know this piggy’s name, but he was stinkin’ cute!!! LOVED HIM! Kids weren’t allowed to pet the baby piglets ’cause they have sharp teeth and could accidently bite Max & Brennan feeding the chickens corn Max enjoyed this!BIG PIG! The kids were allowed to touch the pig’s snout!Cute pig drinking water … didn’t know that they are the only farm animal that doesn’t drink water out of a trough.Max & Brennan’s baby brother, Liam, have developed a mutually fond relationship Baby Liam loves Max! Max asks about a “Baby Brother” every time we see Liam.It was a wonderful afternoon at Hidden Villa. I would highly recommend to the locals.
