Things are a changing! Instead of playing in the sand box or with trains or stuffed animals … we are now moving to video games during our playdates.

We celebrated Emily’s 3rd BD yesterday with friends & family
The main event for Emily’s 3rd BD was “Happy Birds”, a performing parrot show
Seven beautiful & friendly parrots entertained us all and Emily even got a kiss from pretty “Piper”
This particular bird is a trainee to the show. Emily is feeding him an almond.
The bird show consisted of various birds riding a bike, riding a scooter, singing songs, making other animal impersonations, skateboarding, opening water bottles, etc.
Max was an active participant in the audience with lots of questions for the “Bird Lady”. He loved it!

We went to “Hidden Villa” yesterday afternoon for a Barnyard Baby Animal program for preschoolers with some of Max’s friends, Christian, Brennan & Cameron.
“Hidden Villa” is an organic farm located in Los Altos Hills. It’s a non-profit educational organization. Heifer International Learning Center is also present at Hidden Villa and provides educational programs that promote sustainable solutions to global hunger, poverty and environmental degradation. Baby Liam loves Max! Max asks about a “Baby Brother” every time we see Liam.It was a wonderful afternoon at Hidden Villa. I would highly recommend to the locals.

Today was Max’s BD proper. He is officially 4 years old!
Max asked me several times for a chocolate ice cream “Ice Age” cake so here it is!
He loved it and wanted to make sure that everyone knew that all the animals on the cake were HIS!
We just had a small get together for pizza & cake this evening with his close buddies: Brennan, Cameron & Christian.
