Max was chosen to be “The Special Person of the Week” in his Kindergarten classroom this week. Here is his poster outlining the “Top Ten Things You Should Know About Max”

He is standing in front of his class with a pointer describing his poster. His classmates were allowed to ask him questions afterwards. Very fun! I went in to read his favorite book, “Go, Dog, Go”, but he ended up reading it to the class instead! He did a fabulous job!!!!

We went to “Buck N Horse” Ranch in Gilroy this afternoon for Max’s first horseback riding lesson with his good buddies, Alex & Sean

He was paired with Chai, a sweet little pony

Max & Chai took one look at each other and bonded immediately

Max feeling quite comfortable riding Chai

Giving Chai a big hug to say goodbye after his lesson. This was kind of a trial basis lesson to see if it would be something he would enjoy doing.

Waiting in the “Relaxation Room” before her pedicure appointment

There was nothing “relaxing” about it

Emily was a little nervous about her first pedicure

Phuong Li starts her pedicure

It was really just a polish, not a full-on pedicure

Emily sat perfectly still & was such a good girl

She was so happy

Emily’s cute toes with the toe seperator that was way too big for her petite little foot

Phuong Li even drew a beautiful white flower with a sparkly purple middle on both of her big toes

Thanks to The Q (a.k.a. Suzy Q), Uncle Scott, Brynn & Kedryn for the adorable dresses & gorgeous hot pink jacket for Emily’s 4th BD!

Here Emily is modeling the fuchsia butterfly one piece tutu dress

Next up is the pretty classic tailored white & hot pink carnation dress

Third up is the stunning sparkly crown one piece black & white polka dotted tutu dress

Princess Emily knows she looks good in this one! ![]()

This black & white tutu is perfect with it’s soft flouncy ruffles

Last, but certainly not least is a gorgeous, incredibly soft, hot pink faux fur jacket. Perfect for those chilly California evenings. She is less than thrilled to be modeling this particular item since it’s nearing 88 degrees here this afternoon! ![]()

THANKS TO SUZY Q, UNCLE SCOTT, BRYNN & KEDRYN!

Max had his six year old check-up yesterday afternoon

He is 46 1/2 inches tall and weighs 49 1/2 lbs which puts him in the 75th percentile

Poor Max! He was so worried about the shots that he hid underneath a chair screaming, “I AM A SCAREDY CAT! I AM A SCARED CAT!” It took 2 nurses plus me to hold him.
When the RN left the room, Max was screaming & crying. He looked at me and said, “Mama, let’s get out of here!” Then he opened the door slighly, peeked left then right, then RACED out to the lobby with Emily close behind him! Next thing I know the receptionist is running the door and Max has taken off outside in the building complex. When I caught up to them, he said, “Mama, let’s not ever go back there!”
