Our intentions were to go to a Christmas Tree Farm for a fun 'n unique playdate this morning; however, we ended up at the beach in Half Moon Bay because the tree farm was "CLOSED"!

Jacob, Max & Christian were excited about the beach and it turns out that I forgot Max's shoes so it worked out in my favor this time. If you recall, I also forgot his shoes when we went to "Gilroy Gardens" once which is an amusement theme park which proved to be a bit of a problem. We weren't at Gilroy Gardens though. We were at the freezing cold, windy beach in December!!! :-)
Max seemed very happy & content on the beach!

Kathy & Christian
Max & Jacob collected shells at the beach and organized them on a nearby picnic table

Max was counting the shells. He would say, "Count with me. ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR. SEVENTEEN."
Christian was much more interested in making a dam in the sand, but we kind of pushed him into sitting on the bench to get a group shot. He clearly wasn't that into it! Truth be told, doesn't look like any of them are that into it!!
Cute Boys by the Sea!
Max taking his shell searching seriously
Taking a little snack break. It ain't easy collectin' shells!
The End.

Christmas Eve is coming soon; now, you dear old man. Whisper what you'll bring to me; tell me if you can.
Jacob wants a pair of skates,
Maxie wants a sled,

Christian wants a picture book: yellow, blue and red.
Now I think I'll leave to you what to give the rest. Choose for me, Dear Santa Claus; you will know the best.
Wallace & I went to a Masquerade Party this weekend and Max wanted to try on one of the masks for fun!

Happy Halloween!
Yes! Max was suppose to be a Pirate for Halloween; however, the weather was chilly so I opted to put his sister in a Horse Costume which Max wore for Halloween 2006. Max was very excited about Emily's horse outfit as he pulled her tail and pushed the nose to make the horsey neighing sound. He then declared that he wanted to be a horse too. The only other warm furry animal type costume I had for Max was his skunk costume from last year so Max was a skunk and Emily was a horsey. Even though I had cute matching Pirate costumes for them ... I guess you just have to go with the flow.
Max the Skunk
Here's our Little Stinker ready to go Trick or Treating with his buddies ... Sean, the Bumble Bee Alex, the Pumpkin Princess Christian, the Knight with a shield And last, but not least Super MAXTON! Max doesn't waste any time!! The skunk walks right into a house and helps himself to the candy bowl. We had to break him of that 'cause he was grabbing multiple pieces of candy. "Only One" and say "Thank you!" was the theme of the evening The skunk is on the move!!
The Skunk & The Knight hit another house!
They quickly move on to the next house as soon as the candy is dropped in their bags Max wants us to check out his loot!
He peeks in to check the candy level

They played Pin the Number on the Pirate

Max was very excited to be blindfolded for the game

He was so intent on not peaking ... he continued to close his eyes even once the blindfold was removed. Jacob putting his number 7 on the Pirate
