Emily's First Hair Cut!

Emily's got her First Hair Cut at "Lollipop Cuts"at 16 months old today (11/25/2008)

She did great! Sat perfectly still and seemed happy to have someone fixing her hair

Emily & Santa Claus

Emily sat perfectly still on Santa's lap; however, she wouldn't crack a single smile. She sat motionless, almost paralyzed. When I went to pick her up she didn't want to leave Santa's lap. She squealed and tried to push me away! She was perfectly content just sitting there with a furry arm around her. It's November 20th so there was no line and Santa wasn't in any hurry to let her go so there they sat for awhile as I waited patiently for her to get squirmy. It never happened!

Emily couldn't seem to get enough. Jambu was holding her and Manav's Grandma was feeding her cake! Emily was very popular at the party! She was the little princess! Everyone was holding, feeding her, & playing with her.

Sneak Peek of Emily's Holiday Dress

Emily's 2008 Holiday Dress features a black velvet bodice with a red satin skirt. A unique black floral type pattern is found on the skirt and a red satin bow seperates the bodice & skirt. To compliment her outfit she is wearing black patent leather shoes complete with bows, black tights and a black velvet bow barrett.

Emily attended Claudia's Lady Bug Birthday Bash this morning. Claudia turned ONE yesterday!

Em was dressed up in her Yellow Sunflower Jean Jumper from the Oma to celebrate Claudia's BIG DAY!

The white hair bow quickly became a thing of the past once she realized it was there!!! Augh! Which reminds me that I promised to give her a bang trim. I just can't seem to bring myself to do it quite yet.

Papa Dave asked how many teeth Emily today so I tried to take a picture of a toothy grin. This clearly shows 4 teeth, but her Upper Lateral Incisors are coming in too so I would say she has 5 1/2 teeth as of today!

Emily Goes Trick or Treating with Grandpa

Yes! Emily was suppose to be a Pirate Princess for Halloween; however, the weather was chilly so I opted to put her in Max's Horse Costume which he wore for Halloween 2006. Max was very excited about Emily's horse outfit as he pulled her tail and pushed the nose to make the horsey neighing sound. He then declared that he wanted to be a horse too. The only other warm furry animal type costume I had for Max was his skunk costume from last year so Emily was a horse and Max was a skunk. Even though I had cute matching Pirate costumes for them ... I guess you just have to go with the flow.
