If she had any clue that hair clip was there it would've been out in half a second. She's not much for anything on her head or in her hair.

Nana got Emily a couple of cute polka dot hats for her BD

This is a lovely pink polka dot one with a waterproof sheen

She was crawling around like a little maniac running into things 'cause she couldn't see so I had to flip the brim

Love Is In The Air

She's a little stunned initially, but then she kind of warms up to the idea! :-) Jacob is a wonderful little boy, but I am concerned about the long distance relationship as Jacob will be moving to Australia at the end of the year

Emily's 12 month appointment

Weight: 22 lbs, 2 oz (75th percentile)
Height: 30 inches (75th percentile)
Head Circ: 17 3/4 inches (60th percentile)

A blood test indicated very low hemoglobin levels so Em was referred to a lab for additional blood tests. We will get the results in a couple days. Probably just need to increase her iron intake.

Max kept checking under the hood of Emily's car and she would push the hood down on his head!! They would laugh and carry on. It was pretty amusing!

Happy 4th of July!

Emily is peaking up to wish everyone a wonderful 4th of July even though she's not in her patriotic attire here.

My friend, Denise, reminded me ... this is Emily's last "First" Holiday! Only two more weeks until she turns the BIG ONE! Time sure does fly when you are exhausted and sleep deprived.

Emily & Daddy together at the park this afternoon. I had a difficult time chosing my favorite photos so I decided to post them all. They are so sweet together. Emily loves her Daddy. She giggles, smiles & coos! I think Daddy kind of likes her too! There is definitely a different relationship between Emily & Daddy v. Max & Daddy. He is a lot more gentle and careful with her although she certainly isn't frail. This cute pink shirt is compliments of Aunt Denise, Uncle Paul, Kyle & Alexis.
