This is the first "Pretty in Pink" play date. It actually was Max's play date at the Jungle this morning, but the girls hung out too ... looking pretty cute if I do say so myself.

JoAnn, Jerry, Max & Emily. Max & Jerry became fast friends. Jerry woke up with him at 5:30am and watched cartoons with him. :-) Max likes to fling himself on Jerry and yells, "Fly. Fly. Fly". This morning I witnessed this while Jerry held a Diet Coke in one hand and a remote in the other. OH MY!

Emily in the Bumbo

Emily is now able to sit up with support and is able to use the Bumbo which Grandpa Dale got for Max when he was about 6 months old. She has become much more alert & interested in the world around her just within the last couple weeks. She loves to look at her hands, put her feet in her mouth, hold onto dolls/toys, pull my hair, but her favorite thing is to watch her big brother Max! She smiles and laughs at him! He is pretty smitten with her too. He likes to hug her, kiss her, hold her hand and tickle her.

Going Home

Sarah and Max were ridding the moving sidewalks while Emily and I were resting by the gate in Denver. This was just before the 8th plane we got on before finally coming home.

First Food

Emily had her first food in Florida, Earth's Best Rice Cereal. Need I say more....

Beaches Turks and Caicos

We went to Beaches Turks and Caicos after New Years with Max and Emily.

A lot of firsts for Emily here. She was not quite sure about it all, but Emily put up with us all and kept up her wonderfully happy and easy going personality.

Here Emily is wrapped up poolside while Max and I plunge in.



A little bit of happy time in our room. We had two very large rooms, one with a king size bed, a roman tub and shower and the other with a small table, double bed (set up as a couch in the sitting room) and double trundle bed below with two large balconies. We had Emily's crib in the sitting room. It all worked out really well.
