There have been several requests for photos of Emily Luisa. The transition from one to two children is very challenging to put it mildly. I had a grandparent or two here for a total of 6 weeks and it was quite a shock when the last grandparent left on Tuesday, August 21st. I am sure you noticed a significant decline in blog posts. Poor Emily isn't going to be as well photographed as her big brother Max. I will do my best though. So, here are some pictures from today.

Today, August 15th, was Emily's official due date

She Passed!!!

Emily did not pass the Newborn Hearing Screening in her left ear on July 23rd and July 24th. Apparently hearing loss is the most common birth defect. Her right ear passed, but her left ear failed twice so we went back today for a third testing.
